Debutto stagionale oltreoceano per la TX Active-Bianchi, in Canada per la quarta prova della Coppa del Mondo MTB, in programma sabato 2 e domenica 3 luglio a Mont Sainte Anne, nel Quebec. E' la prima delle due prove consecutive in Nord America per l'élite Stephane Tempier e l'U23 Gerhard Kerschbaumer, che nel week-end successivo gareggeranno un po' più a Sud, a Windham, negli Stati Uniti. Sabato 2 luglio, alle 9.30 ora locale (le 15.30 in Italia), Gerhard Kerschbaumer cercherà il riscatto dopo il decimo posto di Offenburg, in Germania. L'atleta altoatesino ha tutte le carte in regola per riuscirci, considerato il successo ottenuto nella prova inaugurale di Pietermaritzburg (Sudafrica) e il secondo posto di Dalby Forest (Gran Bretagna). In classifica Kerschbaumer è secondo con 182 punti, alle spalle dell'austriaco Alexander Gehbauer. Alle 14.30 (le 20.30 italiane), invece, Stephane Tempier sarà di scena nella gara Elite. Il francese cerca un posto nella Top-10, sia di giornata (c’era riuscito in Sudafrica, arrivando 8°), sia nella classifica generale, dove attualmente occupa la 12ma posizione con 268 punti, a due sole lunghezze dal decimo posto. Correrà invece in Austria l’altro élite Cristian Cominelli, impegnato sabato 2 luglio a Kitzbühel nel 16° KitzAlpBike festival. Doppio impegno per quasi tutti i ragazzi dello Junior Team. Gli allievi Federico Barri, Cristian Boffelli e Chiara Teocchi e l'esordiente Giorgio Rossi fanno parte degli otto convocati della Lombardia, che sabato 2 luglio disputeranno a Courmayeur (Aosta) il campionato italiano a staffetta riservato alle rappresentative regionali. Stessa location per la gara nazionale MTB di domenica 3 luglio, cui i quattro atleti del TX Active-Bianchi prenderanno parte con i colori sociali, assieme all'altro compagno di squadra, l'esordiente Oscar Vairetti.
