Gerhard Kerschbaumer (TX Active-Bianchi) su Bianchi Methanol SL2 è giunto secondo nella quinta prova di Coppa del Mondo a Mont Sainte-Anne (Canada), sabato 23 giugno. Malgrado due cadute, il vincitore della Coppa del Mondo 2011 ha tagliato il traguardo a 23 secondi dall'olandese Michiel Van der Heijden, precedendo il tedesco Markus Schulte-Luenzum.

In classifica generale Kerschbaumer ha recuperato 70 punti ad Alexandre Gehbauer e Ondrej Cink, rispettivamente primo e secondo: ora l'under 23 del team TX Active-Bianchi è quinto a quota 247.

Leonardo Paez (TX Active-Bianchi) su Bianchi Methanol 29SL ha vinto in maniera autoritaria la Sella Ronda Hero, importante gara Marathon con partenza e arrivo a Selva di Val Gardena (Bolzano), sabato 23 giugno.

Paez ha percorso l'impegnativo tracciato di 82 km in 4 ore 33 minuti e 16 secondi, precedendo di 3'10" l'italiano Mirko Celestino e di quasi 7 minuti Massimo De Bertolis.

Sia Kerschbaumer, sia Paez saranno in gara alle Olimpiadi di Londra, dove ci sarà anche il loro compagno Stephane Tempier: gli atleti del team TX Active-Bianchi vogliono viverle da protagonisti.

Kerschbaumer second at World Cup, Paez “king” at Sella Ronda Hero

TX Active-Bianchi's Gerhard Kerschbaumer on Bianchi Methanol SL2 placed second at World Cup XCO stage-5 in Mont Sainte-Anne (Canada) on Saturday, June 23rd. Despite of two crashes, 2011 World Cup's winner crossed the finish line 34 seconds behind Dutch Michiel Van der Heijden, preceding German Markus Schulte-Luenzum.

In the general classification Kerschbaumer recovered 70 points to Alexandre Gehbauer and Ondrej Cink, first and second overall respectively: now TX Active-Bianchi's U23 rider is fifth with 247 points.

TX Active-Bianchi's Leonardo Paez on Bianchi Methanol 29SL took an outstanding victory at Sella Ronda Hero, major Marathon race with start and arrival in Selva di Val Gardena (Northern Italy) on Saturday, June 23rd.

Paez covered the 82 km demanding course in 4:33:16, with a 3:10 advantage on Italian Mirko Celestino and almost 7 minutes on Massimo De Bertolis.
Both Kerschbaumer and Paez will be in the action at London Olympics, as well as their team-mate Stephane Tempier: TX Active-Bianchi’s riders aim to stand out at the 2012 Games.
