Tempier e Kerschbaumer al via della quinta prova della Coppa del Mondo XCO
L'élite Stephane Tempier e l'U23 Gerhard Kerschbaumer del team TX Active-Bianchi saranno in gara nella quinta prova della Coppa del Mondo XCO a Mont Sainte-Anne (Canada), sabato 23 giugno.

Alle 9 locali (le 15 in Italia) Kerschbaumer su Bianchi Methanol SL2 tornerà a gareggiare sul percorso dove, nel 2011, vinse sollevando verso il cielo la sua bici Bianchi. Tempier partirà invece alle 14 (le 20 italiane) nella prova riservata ad atleti Elite, anch’egli con una Methanol SL2. Dopo quattro prove di Coppa del Mondo, Kerschbaumer è quarto fra gli U23 con 177 punti, mentre Tempier è 13° a quota 364, a 26 lunghezze dalla Top 10.

Tony Longo e Leonardo Paez saranno impegnati in altrettante gare Marathon. Longo su Methanol SL2 parteciperà alla prova unica del Campionato italiano, sul percorso della Valleogra Mtb Race a Schio, domenica 24 giugno. Il colombiano Paez, fresco di convocazione per le Olimpiadi di Londra, correrà su Bianchi Methanol 29SL la Sella Ronda Hero, 82 km fra le Dolomiti con partenza e arrivo a Selva di Val Gardena (Bolzano), sabato 23 giugno.

Week-end impegnativo anche per i più giovani. Gli junior Federico Barri e Cristian Boffelli sono attesi all'ottava Franciacortabike, 44 km Point to Point a Erbusco (Brescia). Gli allievi e gli esordienti al completo saranno al 2° Trofeo Città di Verona.

Tempier and Kerschbaumer in the action at World Cup XCO round-5

TX Active-Bianchi’s élite Stephane Tempier and U23 Gerhard Kerschbaumer will be in the action at World Cup XCO round-5 in Mont Sainte-Anne (Canada) on Saturday, June 23rd.

Kerschbaumer on Bianchi Methanol SL2 will come back to race at 9 a.m. (local time) on the course where, in 2011, he triumphed picking up his Bianchi bike. Tempier will be on the starting line at 2 p.m. (local time) in the Elite race on Methanol SL2 as well. After four rounds, Kerschbaumer is fourth among U23 with 177 points, whilst Tempier is 13th with 364 points, 26 less than the 10th placed.

Tony Longo and Leonardo Paez will compete on the longest distance. Longo on Methanol SL2 will take part at Marathon Italian Championships, on the Valleogra Mtb Race's course in Schio (Vicenza, North-East Italy), on Sunday, June 24th. Paez, just capped for London 2012 Olympics, will ride on Bianchi Methanol 29SL at Sella Ronda Hero, 82 km on Dolomiti's peaks with start and arrival in Selva di Val Gardena (Bozen, Northern Italy), on Saturday, June 23rd.

Junior team will also face a demanding week-end. Juniors Federico Barri and Cristian Boffelli will be in the action at 8th Franciacortabike, RPP Race in Erbusco (Brixia, Northern Italy), cadets and rookies' full roster at 2nd Trofeo Città di Verona.
